English version
Amitaro does not answer inquiries in English, and English emails may not reach Amitaro. Always write your inquiry in Japanese.
These voice assets are shared mainly for creators who understand and respect Japanese creative culture, where the person behind each voice and work is treated with care. Use from outside Japan is not prohibited, but please do not think of them as “free, so anything goes.” Please use them with care and respect for the person behind the voice.
Amitaro’s Voice Material Studio is run by Amitaro alone.
Recently, Amitaro has been receiving a very large number of questions like “Is this use OK?” and can no longer keep up with replies. It is also taking time away from making new voice assets.
If your use is permitted by the Terms of Use, you do not need to ask Amitaro.
If you are thinking “I’m not sure, but I’ll ask just in case,” please wait a moment before sending your message.
First, please check
You are welcome to have an AI read them. Give it the URLs and ask, “Is this use permitted by these terms?” It will find the relevant parts for you.
An AI told me to “contact the official source just to be safe.”
Please have the AI read the Terms of Use and FAQ first, then ask again.
If your use does not fall under “What Is Prohibited” in the Terms of Use, you may go ahead. You do not need Amitaro’s confirmation.
My use is not described exactly in the Terms of Use.
New ways of using voices appear all the time, so the Terms of Use cannot list every case.
If you are using the voice assets in games, videos, apps, or similar works, it is OK as long as it does not fall under “What Is Prohibited.” No confirmation is needed.
For AI or voice synthesis models, see the next question.
I’m not sure whether my AI or voice synthesis model use is allowed.
Please follow the “AI Voice Models” section of the Terms of Use.
If you are unsure which rule applies, follow the stricter one.
I’m not sure whether the content of my work is OK.
Amitaro is not comfortable with adult content or works that are sad to watch. She is an ordinary woman who shares her voice for free out of goodwill, so it makes her very sad when it is used that way.
If you are unsure, imagine asking a family member, or someone you know from school or work, “I want to use it like this, so could you record this line for me?” If you would feel even a little uncomfortable asking, it may not be a healthy use.
I’d like to get an “OK” reply just to be safe.
Amitaro does not send individual “OK” replies for uses already permitted by the Terms of Use.
What the Terms of Use say is Amitaro’s permission.
If I contact you and get no reply, does that mean it’s OK?
No. Lack of response does not mean permission for any use not already permitted by the Terms of Use.
If your use is permitted, no confirmation is needed in the first place, so please go ahead without waiting for a reply.
When should I contact you?
Only when the Terms of Use or FAQ ask you to contact Amitaro.
All inquiries must be submitted in Japanese. Inquiries in English or other languages will not receive a response.

We will keep adding to the Terms of Use and FAQ little by little, so that everyone can use the voices with peace of mind.
